Responsibilities
- Participate on a DEVOPS multidisciplinary team of engineers to build new and innovative applications related to Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK).
- Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest ATAK programming techniques
- Build reusable software components for interfacing platforms
- Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK).
- Interfacing with established DoD UIs, to include ATAK.
- Strong software development skills with hands-on programming experience (Java, C/C , Android, iOS, Python, BitBake)
- Experience with multi-threading programming and mobile memory management and debugging a Linux kernel running in QEMU using KGDB over Ethernet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask on several projects concurrently.
Clearance:
- An active DoD secret or higher, clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-7 years of experience.
- 4 years of directly related experience can be substituted for a degree.
Location:
- Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
- Monday-Friday. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s and customer approval.
