As a solution-based company, we foster a creative environment that welcomes new perspectives from all of our team members.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Windows servers, user accounts, and system configurations.Oversee system backups, restoration procedures, and ensure business continuity.Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and optimal functionality.Perform regular patch management and apply updates in accordance with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.Support disaster recovery (DR) processes, including readiness, testing, and documentation.Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive system documentation.Administer and troubleshoot VMWare environments, including provisioning and resource optimization.Manage, configure, and maintain IIS web servers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.All other duties assigned. Have the ability to brief complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test, or evaluate systems. Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. Education & Experience:Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM program or IT. 4 years of direct relatable experience can substitute for a degree. Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval.
