JOB TITLE: Help Desk Technician
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position description
The Help Desk Technician position provides help desk support and technology troubleshooting to clients in the areas of desktop support, networks, security and backups.
Essential job duties and responsibilities

-Provide help desk support, for incoming phone calls, service ticket requests and emails.
-Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
-Monitor and respond to software generated alerts.
-Configure and prepare computer systems and other hardware for delivery to clients.
-Participate in relevant vendor training to maintain up-to-date expertise.
-Obtain and maintain certifications as required for continued success.

- Any other relevant training as assigned by TechWorx
-Support partners/staff in assigned project-based work.
-Maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
-Provide professional, courteous, prompt, and accurate support and solutions to users.
-Be polite, courteous, and professional when communicating with co-workers.
-Ensure customer satisfaction.
-Follow-up with customers to ensure all issues have been resolved.
Position requirements
This position requires the skills and abilities, including but not limited to:
0-1 years of relevant IT experience.
High School Diploma or Microsoft certification.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exhibits adaptability, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
Exhibits patience and persistence.
Demonstrated knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of modern computer and software systems, including but not limited to Windows, Office, and network hardware.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Be able to pass a full background check.
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 80lbs with assistance.
