We are seeking an experienced Mainframe DB2 Systems Programmer / DB2 Systems Administrator to support enterprise DB2 for z/OS environments. The candidate will be responsible for DB2 subsystem administration, installation, upgrades, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
Required Skills
- 7 years of Mainframe experience.
- 3 years of hands-on DB2 Systems Programming / DB2 Administration experience.
- Strong experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS.
- Experience with DB2 installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of ZPARMs / DSNZPARM and DB2 subsystem configuration.
- Experience with DB2 buffer pools, logs, BSDS, Catalog and Directory.
- Strong DB2 performance tuning and problem-solving experience.
- Experience with DB2 Data Sharing / Sysplex preferred.
- Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.
- Experience with DB2 replication such as Q Replication, SQL Replication, or CDC preferred.
- Strong production-support and root-cause-analysis skills.
Salary : $65 - $70
