Job Description

Summary: Responsible for servicing and installing the main components of fountain soda systems, juice systems, and bulk carbon dioxide vessels by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Installs equipment for beverage systems at new customer's location.*
• Performs service on syrup, juice, and bulk Co2 equipment at customers location.*
• Trouble shoots and resolves problems concerning quality of product.*
• Performs preventative maintenance at customers location when time permits.*
• Rebuilds equipment at the plant when time permits.*
• Delivers occasional BIB and Co2.*
• Surveys and evaluates job sites for potential installations.*
• Evaluates temperature and carbonation level of finished product at every service call.*
• Ensures customers sign loan agreement when new equipment is installed.*
• Prepares outdoor patios bars and venues for seasonal changes for example summer or winter.*
• Works overtime as required.*
• Works after hours on call service rotation 7 days/24 hours a day if needed.*
• Performs service work as occasionally required in Rochester, Central New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky.*
• Performs daily paperwork and reporting.*
• Maintains a clean and safe working area.*

Language Ability:

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of operating a handheld unit.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid New York state driver’s license
