Job Title: IT Service Management Specialist – Mainframe Production Support
Location: New York City, NY
Schedule: 3 consecutive days per week, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management Specialist to support mainframe production operations, batch processing, and job scheduling across mainframe, UNIX, and PeopleSoft environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor scheduled batch jobs and troubleshoot production failures.
- Manage job schedules, dependencies, batch processes, and job flows.
- Identify issues, coordinate escalations, and document production incidents.
- Execute and troubleshoot test flows and assist with software migrations.
- Support reliable batch processing and production operations.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in production operations, batch troubleshooting, and job-failure escalation.
- 3–5 years of job scheduling experience.
- Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and GDGs.
- Experience with CA Workload Automation DE (dSeries) or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with UNIX, PeopleSoft Process Monitor, File-AID, and IDCAMS.
- Knowledge of FTPS, Connect, PuTTY, and WinSCP.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Education: Relevant bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, any bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
