What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Tester position at TechTrend, Inc.?
In this position, you are a QA Tester with demonstrated success in supporting the federal government. The QA Tester is responsible for the programmatic quality of support, focusing on coordination, planning, reporting, and administration functions.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct and perform standardized testing designed to find flaws before they become larger issues
- Assist in troubleshooting processes and verify that implemented fixes have intended results.
- Create logs and tracking systems to document testing results.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-8 years’ relevant experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Experience working with risk management techniques, metrics, KPIs
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Federal or DoD organizations, policies, procedures, instructions, directives, and manuals
- Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government
