We need an experienced Service Tech who can service heat pumps, oil and gas furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Our customer base is mostly residential with some light commercial. We pay a competitive hourly rate plus commission, and we have an excellent benefits package. TechStar pays above the industry standard of the health insurance premium.

You will service and maintenance HVAC systems and mini splits, so knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical systems and electrical components is a must. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will ensure optimal system performance while delivering exceptional service to clients. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVAC/R), boilers, and mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues
- Conduct equipment repairs and install replacement parts to restore optimal functionality
- On call rotation with the other Service Techs for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Record detailed service records and maintenance reports for all work performed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits
Skills
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R equipment repair and maintenance in residential and commercial environments
- Strong understanding of schematics, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration principles, and mechanical systems repair
- Skilled in using hand tools, brazing equipment, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools for equipment troubleshooting
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
- Good driving record is a must

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
