Title: Machine Technician
Location: Princeton, IN
Working hours: Standard 7 to 4 local time
Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension
Bachelor’s degree: No High School Diploma or Equivalent
Overtime: Yes, 30% during weekdays, weekends, shutdown, holidays and odd hours.
Travel: Yes. 70% Domestic and International
How soon after the offer will they be required to travel: After 3 to 4 months as per the business need but it depends on the skill sets as well to travel early
Travel would be scheduled more than 3 months dispatch would be available: Max 2 weeks
Experience level: 4 or more years
Interview Process: 2 Rounds
Interview 1: STAR/Video interview via MS Teams for 60 minutes (Panel Interview)
Interview 2: In-person interview for a couple of hours.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of this role is to Inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production.
- On-site robot programming and interlocking
- Confirm that the new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
- Prepare and confirm new Body Weld equipment at the vendors
- Support weld machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
- Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials
- Engage in travel to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field
- 1 years of Seibi experience
- 3 years of Automotive experience
- Experience with mentoring and/or technical training
