Job Title: CMM Programmer

Must have skills:
- Proven experience as a CMM Programmer, specifically in heavy industry or similar manufacturing environments.
- Strong proficiency in CMM software such as PC-DMIS and Calypso Expertise in reading and interpreting 2D drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes and tolerances.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Educational background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
Detailed Job Description:
- Develop and modify CMM programs to accurately measure complex CNC machined components based on technical drawings.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications to ensure precise inspection.
- Set up and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Perform detailed inspections of CNC machined parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and tolerances.
- Analyse measurement data, prepare inspection reports, and document findings.
- Collaborate closely with CNC operators, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve measurement issues and improve inspection procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and measurement issues
- Minimum years of experience: 8-15 years
- Education: Bachelor's or Master of Engineering
