Your Opportunity:
As a full-time staff accountant for TechSource you will perform a variety of accounting duties for the Accounting Department including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial statements, and other financial work. In addition, you will ensure compliance with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations. You will create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. You will work in the office daily, located in Albuquerque, NM.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reconcile financial records.
- Prepare month-end close.
- Support financial reporting to corporate.
- Manage the invoicing and billing related to Time and Material (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts. Ensure invoicing is accurate, account payable entries are timely recorded, and bank accounts are properly reconciled.
- Establish strong working relationships with departmental colleagues and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Work on special projects and impromptu reports for the Controller, as needed.
