Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture solutions for a large-scale financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud data platforms, data modeling, integration frameworks, governance, and modern data engineering technologies. The Data Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and data engineers to establish scalable and secure data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture strategies and standards.
- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Architect scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
- Define data integration, ETL/ELT, and data migration strategies.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather data requirements.
- Develop data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements.
- Optimize database performance and data processing workflows.
- Support analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and data science initiatives.
- Provide architectural guidance to development and engineering teams.
Required Skills
- 10 years of Data Architecture and Data Management experience.
- Strong experience with Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical).
- Expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran, Informatica, Matillion, Talend, or DataStage.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse, or BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
- Experience designing APIs and data integration architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines.
- Experience with Collibra, Alation, or other Data Catalog solutions.
- TOGAF, CDMP, AWS, Azure, or Snowflake certifications.
