Job Summary
The Sales Assistant provides administrative support for the sales team at Techquidation, including Account Managers and Sales Manager. The Sales Assistant is responsible for administrative functions for strategic accounts, such as creating sales orders in the CRM; communicating with customers by email and phone; and handling administrative tasks for the sales team and the Sales Manager. The Sales Assistant must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The job requires in office presence in Woodstock, GA, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor multiple emails for inbound customer communications
- Respond via email and phone to customer inquiries
- Create Sales Orders in the CRM
- Coordinate with marketing department to have collateral developed and distributed to customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer order issues
- Take calls from one-time buyers and process orders
- Handle administrative tasks in the CRM
- Handle administrative tasks for the sales team weekly meeting
- Perform customer focused tasks assigned by sales team
- Perform general office duties including filing, answering phones, and other administrative duties as requested
- Assist sales team with lead generation and qualification through outbound calls, monitoring web-based leads, and screening inbound inquiries
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience assisting a salesperson or sales team preferred
- Experience working in a CRM preferred
- Experience dealing with customers over the phone or in person
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential
- Team player with a can-do attitude who can work well across the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to oversee multiple concurrent activities
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to manage time well, to prioritize and follow-up with minimal direction
- Quickly embrace, learn, and apply new technologies and/or procedures
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- College degree preferred. General Business, Marketing, or Communications a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs
- Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, crouch or crawl
- Multiple daily use of stairs is required
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Work in environment with surrounding noise
- Communicate via telephone conversation and typing emails
