What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Architect position at TECHOHANA?
Salesforce Solutions Architect | Manufacturing & Ops | Boston Hybrid
I’m currently partnering with a prominent Boston-based manufacturing firm to find a Salesforce Solutions Architect.
They’ve moved past the "out of the box" phase. They have a complex environment with high data volumes, multiple integrations, and a need for a sophisticated technical roadmap. We need a strategist who can look at a shop floor process and translate it into a world-class enterprise architecture.
The Role:
- Strategic Roadmap: You’ll be the technical lead for the Salesforce platform, deciding how to scale the system as the company expands its global manufacturing footprint.
- Systems Integration: You’ll oversee how Salesforce communicates with their ERP, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and custom engineering tools.
- Technical Governance: You’ll define the standards for Apex vs. Flow, manage deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and ensure the org remains healthy and performant.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: You’ll work alongside VPs of Operations and Engineering to solve "real-world" bottlenecks using digital solutions.
Who You Are:
- Proven Architect: You have deep experience designing complex Salesforce ecosystems, ideally in a manufacturing, hardware, or high-tech environment.
- Integration Expert: You’re comfortable with middleware, APIs, and handling large data volumes without hitting governor limits.
- The "Why" Person: You don't just build what you're told; you challenge requirements to find the most scalable, efficient solution.
- Boston-Based: You value the 2-day hybrid model for high-level whiteboarding and team collaboration.
