Job Title: OneStream Developer (Business Rules & Planning Focus)
Location: Client office (onsite- 10 days a month)
Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled OneStream Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and supporting OneStream XF applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in writing and optimizing Business Rules, experience with Planning applications, and a solid understanding of relational data architecture. This role requires close collaboration with finance and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain OneStream XF applications, including cubes, dimensions, and data integrations
- Develop, test, and deploy Business Rules (Finance, Extender, Dashboard, and Data Management rules)
- Build and enhance planning, budgeting, and forecasting applications within OneStream
- Collaborate with finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and manage relational data structures to support OneStream integrations and reporting
- Develop and maintain data integration processes using OneStream Data Management and external sources
- Write and maintain code using and C# where applicable for extensibility and integrations
- Optimize system performance and ensure scalability of OneStream solutions
- Support financial processes such as consolidation, planning, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including data, calculation, and integration discrepancies
- Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience working with OneStream XF
- Strong experience writing and maintaining Business Rules (C#-based ideally, but VB.Net also acceptable)
- Hands-on experience with Planning applications (budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling)
- Proficiency in C#, , and SQL
- Strong understanding of relational data architecture and database design
- Experience with OneStream components such as:
- Cube Views
- Dashboards
- Data Management
- Workflows
- Solid understanding of financial processes (consolidation, planning, reporting)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- OneStream certification
- Experience with other EPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan)
- Experience integrating with external systems via APIs or middleware
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
