- Lead and manage large-scale enterprise implementation projects.
- Manage legacy modernization initiatives and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
- Create required project documentation, presentations, and artifacts in accordance with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
- Provide weekly written and verbal status updates; conduct regular project team meetings.
- Present project updates to leadership and oversight bodies including Executive Steering Committees and QAT.
- Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to HHSC guidelines, state procedures, and project governance standards.
- Manage and monitor project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Track development progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Document and manage risks, issues, and contingency plans.
- Drive issue resolution and remove project impediments.
- Oversee development of SDLC artifacts and ensure business requirements are captured and validated.
- Support project audits, compliance reviews, and MIRP-related reporting.
- Some on-call support may be required depending on project phase.
- 10 years of project management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations.
- 8 years of State of Texas or similar Federal/State project management experience.
- 8 years of project management or systems analyst experience leading legacy modernization projects.
- 5 years of experience with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
- 5 years of experience with low-code/no-code solutions.
- 3 years of experience with Texas statewide systems.
- 3 years of knowledge of the State of Texas QAT process for Major Information Resources Projects (MIRP).
Hybrid role based in Austin, Texas.
