What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Finance Consultant position at Technotopia Solutions LLC?
We are looking for an Experienced SAP Functional Analyst for Make Finance/Controls/Product Costing with strong expertise in S/4HANA Controlling and Manufacturing Costing.
Location: Preferably NJ with ability to work onsite in Raritan, NJ 1-2 days/week
Remote option may be considered
Start: Immediate to end of 2026

Product Costing (S/4HANA Controlling)
- Advanced Product Costing
- Standard, actual & mixed costing
- Cost Component Structures (standard groups)
- Cost estimate creation, release, marking & variance analysis
- Integration with PP & Logistics
- Material Ledger with Actual Costing & closing flows
- Integration between BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Activity Types
- Costing lot size logic & cost estimate impact
- Planned vs actual cost flows from production/process orders
- Knowledge of PP allocation, confirmations, scrap, rework & WIP impact
Manufacturing Controlling
- WIP, Variance Categories, Settlement Rules
- Activity pricing & cost center planning
- Integration with Overhead Cost Controlling (template allocation, overhead keys)
- COPA integration (Account-Based preferred)
Material Ledger Actual Costing
- Parallel valuation, multicurrency, transfer pricing
- Cost rollups across plants & intercompany
- ML closing activities, C development rollups
Finance Integration Knowledge
- FI postings related to production and inventory
- Inventory valuation (legal vs group)
- Reconciliation across FI/CO/PP/MM modules
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
