Senior Java Developer

TechnoMile is looking for a Senior Java Microservices Developer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of enterprise Java microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS API Gateway, and microservices design, along with a passion for delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and following industry best practices.

The day-to-day:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain microservices-based solutions using core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS API Gateway.

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across distributed systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Optimize application performance and scalability using proven techniques and cloud-native tools.

• Work with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and support containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and suggest innovative solutions to improve application development.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot. Strong proficiency in React, core Java, and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS API Gateway, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code documentation, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS).

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
