Job Description: Computer Technician
Location: Central Office
Certification: Background in educational technology both in the workplace or from an accredited institution
Possible industry certifications (e.g., A , IC3, etc.)
Reports to: Director of Technology
Length of Contract: 235 Days
Main Job Functions: Assist the Director of Technology to organize, direct, and oversee education and information technology activities
Illustrative Duties: Acts as a district authority on education technology issues
Coordinates the implementation of the district’s technology plan
Works collaboratively with central office and school-based personnel to use and integrate educational technology in the instructional program
Assist end users in use and upkeep of technology equipment
Assumes other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
