The projected compensation range for this position is $175K - $215K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Software Engineer Level 1 is a junior-level role responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. Candidates typically have some professional experience and a solid foundation in programming, debugging, and software development practices. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while contributing to the delivery of reliable, mission-focused solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments
- Proficiency coding in Python, C , Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with the following: Git, GitLab, IDEs (e.g., VSCode, Eclipse, etc…)
- Agile framework experience (Scrum, etc.)
- Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
- Experience with geospatial processing
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- BS Degree 7 years experience
