HR Generalist
Bowling Green, Ohio | Full-Time | Onsite
Excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR Generalist to join a growing organization in Bowling Green, Ohio. This is an onsite position for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day aspects of Human Resources and working directly with employees and management.
The ideal candidate will have broad HR experience with exposure to areas such as employee relations, onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination and HRIS administration. ADP experience is highly preferred, and experience working in a manufacturing environment would be a plus.
We are also open to candidates with a strong payroll or accounting background who have experience with ADP and employee administration and are interested in expanding their responsibilities into a broader Human Resources role.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support day-to-day Human Resources activities and employee needs
- Assist with employee relations and serve as a resource for employees and managers
- Coordinate onboarding and new-hire processes
- Support benefits administration and employee benefit questions
- Assist with payroll-related activities and coordination
- Maintain employee information and HRIS records
- Support HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Assist with employee documentation, reporting and other HR initiatives
- Partner with management on ongoing HR and administrative needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources, payroll, employee administration or a related area
- Experience with ADP strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, onsite environment
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
