What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of the Digital Farming Solutions (DFS) Customer Enablement team, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for internal systems within the FieldView platform domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to drive platform adoption, ensure technical alignment, and deliver value. Your role is highly autonomous and involves high-ownership responsibilities, including defining feature sets, leading planning sessions, and working directly with delivery teams. You will facilitate technical reviews, shape platform vision, and communicate effectively with security, architecture, and leadership teams. Your efforts will directly impact the stability, security, and scalability of shared core services used organization-wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for internal platform services such as identity and access management infrastructure.
- Develop and prioritize high-quality features and user stories that clearly define scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead planning and decomposition of complex capabilities into well-defined, executable work using frameworks like Impact, Confidence, Ease (ICE).
- Partner with enterprise architects and senior engineers during technical design reviews to ensure alignment with architectural standards and security requirements.
- Drive platform adoption by engaging internal teams, creating onboarding documentation, and identifying opportunities to improve developer experience.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination by managing dependencies, resolving blockers, and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
- Define and track success metrics such as adoption rates, integration times, incident occurrences, and developer satisfaction to foster continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of operational dashboards and data-driven decision-making practices to enhance platform reliability and visibility.
- Engage credibly at all organizational levels to communicate platform capabilities, technical decisions, and future directions.
- Ensure technical decisions are documented and align with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role in software or platform engineering.
- Proven experience owning and executing strategy for internal platform products or shared services.
- Strong technical fluency in identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, security protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), RBAC, and ABAC.
- Ability to review pull requests, understand system behavior from source code, and contribute to technical discussions.
- Skilled in writing clear, high-quality product artifacts such as features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Proficiency with Agile backlog management tools, preferably Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated with a track record of initiative-taking and driving outcomes in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), PI Planning, and ART ceremonies.
- Experience working with cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Knowledge of identity service providers like Okta, Auth0, AWS IAM, or Azure AD.
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
- Background in developing platform adoption strategies, migration plans, and developer onboarding programs.
- Proficiency with observability and data-driven practices using platforms like Datadog or similar tools.
- Experience utilizing GenAI tools or AI-assisted workflows to accelerate product management processes.
Pay: $77.00 – $110.00 /hr
