Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Data Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a key member of the data engineering team working on a 12-month contract. You will partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to build robust data workflows and optimize data architectures. You will develop, test, and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs. Your contributions will ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across cloud-based systems. You will implement best practices for data engineering, troubleshoot complex issues, and support platform modernization efforts. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimize data architectures using Databricks and Spark.
• Develop and maintain data models to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and system performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data testing, monitoring, and documentation.
• Support cloud-based data platforms and contribute to platform modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, Apache Spark, and Databricks.
• Experience building and optimizing large-scale data processing systems.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Informatica IDMC.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms like Teradata.
• Cloud environment experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Previous exposure to hybrid work environments and collaborative teams.

Pay: $52.80 – $74.00 /hr
