Job Description:
Seeking a Financial Manager/Controller to direct and supervise all general accounting activities for the division. As a Financial Manager/Controller, you will prepare annual budgets, forecasts and year-end fiscal reports, direct the division’s physical inventory and financial record audits, assures adherence to company financial policies and procedures, monitor monthly/quarterly financial performance and make appropriate recommendations to achieve desired profit objectives and ROI, and prepare requested reports/analysis for presentation to Ulbrich management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

- Directs and supervises all general accounting activities for the division including: General Ledger, A/P, Billing, financial statement preparation; financial records/files, taxes, fixed assets, capital expenditures, bank, IRS, and other financial audits.
- Prepares and monitors annual budget and proforma forecast in conjunction with Divisional General Manager and Corporate Management’s annual financial goals/strategies.
- Directs & coordinates annual physical inventory and cycle counts for all locations within the Division.
- Assures divisional adherence to company financial policies and procedures and interacts effectively with corporate credit and financial staff.
- Proactively monitors monthly and quarterly divisional financial performance and makes appropriate recommendations to achieve desired profit objectives and ROI.
- Prepares requested reports and analysis for presentation to Ulbrich management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Acts as a member of the USWP management team.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Accounting.
- 5-7 years professional level accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 3-5 years of staff management experience including both clerical and professional staff.
- Thorough knowledge of fundamental accounting practices typically acquired through 5-7 years of professional level accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient computer skills including use of MS Office, Power Query and Power BI, spreadsheet, presentation and company-utilized financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels within the company and work effectively in a team-based environment.
