For 20 years, TDI has helped governments, non-profits, research institutions, and commercial clients modernize what matters — through AI/ML, cloud, big data, and digital government services. Our product portfolio includes GovCare, PerSoN, EMA, NIfETy, and QUIT4GOODLIFE, and we're expanding our US commercial footprint.
We're hiring a mid-career business developer who can also run things — someone who will own our growth motion and bring operational discipline to how we scale. You'll work directly with the founder.
What you'll do — Business Development (primary)
- Own the full sales cycle for commercial accounts: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, close
- Build and manage a disciplined pipeline with weekly forecast reporting to leadership
- Lead responses to government and non-profit RFPs and RFIs, coordinating technical and compliance inputs
- Cultivate partnerships with channel partners, systems integrators, and research institutions
- Represent TDI at industry events and client meetings across the DMV and beyond
- Feed market insights back to product and services leadership
What you'll do — Operations (supporting)
- Coordinate across US leadership and our distributed engineering teams to keep delivery on track
- Support hiring, vendor management, and internal tooling
- Maintain SOPs aligned with our SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR commitments
- Turn founder intent into plans, owners, and deadlines
What we're looking for
- 4–6 years of experience with a clear track record of closing deals and driving revenue
- Some operational or cross-functional ownership in a prior role
- Strong communicator, polished in front of enterprise and public-sector buyers
- Process-minded; builds structure where there isn't any yet
- Authorized to work in the US; able to work onsite in North Bethesda, MD
Bonus points for
- Selling technology or SaaS into government, healthcare, research, or non-profit sectors
- Familiarity with RFP processes or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience coordinating with offshore engineering teams
