Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Project Management Office (PMO) by coordinating and managing project activities across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting with or managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery, effective communication, resource coordination, and adherence to PMO standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all work in accordance with organizational safety policies and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Support project managers with project administration, documentation, and reporting.
- Schedule project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Coordinate multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define executable project tasks.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution from initiation through completion.
- Create, maintain, and monitor Microsoft Project schedules.
- Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and schedule performance.
- Manage project scope and ensure change requests are documented and addressed appropriately.
- Assist with resource planning and coordination across multiple projects.
- Support project decision-making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation activities.
- Maintain and update PMO documentation, templates, standards, and artifact libraries.
- Prepare project reports, budget forecasts, expense tracking, and status updates.
- Monitor compliance with PMO methodologies, templates, and governance processes.
- Develop stakeholder presentations and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
- Maintain project risk registers and lessons learned documentation.
- Perform other project-related responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of recent experience managing or coordinating projects within Transportation, Utilities, IT Infrastructure, Operational Technology (OT), Financial Systems, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and project lifecycle management.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project for project scheduling and maintenance.
- Proficiency with project management tools and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio preferred.
Salary : $65 - $70
