Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on welding and fabrication experience, and the ability to support both production equipment and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance throughout the production area.
- Troubleshoot and repair: Industrial gas-fired ovens and controls, Nordson powder coating equipment, Industrial gas-fired washing equipment, Industrial propane hi-los, production support equipment.
- Fabricate, weld, and repair part racks, carts, and production support equipment.
- Perform general building and facilities maintenance.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical experience, and facilities maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems and machinery.
- Welding and metal fabrication experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under pressure.
