What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Service Job CNC Technician position at Techno CNC Systems?
Techno CNC Systems, which specializes in designing and manufacturing CNC Routers, plasma cutters and lasers, is seeking a Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be charged with building, testing, trouble shooting, installing and training customers the operations of the CNC equipment. They will also work closely with the facilities manager and the broader engineering team to improve operational efficiency and product manufacturability.
As Service Technician you will:
- Perform necessary operations to correctly assemble CNC equipment
- Test all equipment, performance, and system accuracy and record all results
- Perform quality inspections and tests to ensure highest customer satisfaction
- Support customers as needed onsite, via phone and email
- Perform live equipment demonstrations
- Excellent attendance and punctuality mandatory
- Travel is required.
- Knowledge and ability to learn and operate all Techno machine centers and software
- Perform live equipment demonstrations

Required Skills:
- Good understanding of basic electricity, and ability read electrical schematics.
- Strong computer skills, and network understanding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, can think out of the box for debugging equipment and solutions
- Ability to work under stress and in a fast paced environment
- Background in CNC Technology and controls a plus
- Work independently without supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years experience in a hands-on mass production line environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to multitask and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
- Effective communicator
- Extreme attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Experience with automotive, aerospace, industrial, mechatronic or electromechanical device manufacturing Experience with machine shop equipment (preferred, not required)Programming experience
