The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment, facilities, and systems function efficiently and safely. This role includes managing a team of technicians, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep.
- Direct vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Define and implement corrective and preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Define, monitor and analyze maintenance KPI’s to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Examples of activities:
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and systems to identify issues.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for maintenance tasks and provide them to the team.
- Ensure that technicians respond to all maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Identify and report needs and risks in terms of people or facilities.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong background in maintenance and repair, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, instruments, plumbing, and HVAC systems is required.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and project management tools, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Bilingual English - Spanish
