THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a hands-on, revenue-generating internship. As our Sales & Marketing Intern, you'll work directly with leadership to drive new customer acquisition, expand our footprint into wrestling and MMA markets, and help identify untapped growth channels. You'll develop real-world skills in B2B and B2C sales, sports marketing, and brand development while earning uncapped commissions on everything you sell.
If you're a wrestler, MMA athlete, or combat sports competitor, this role was built with you in mind. You already speak the language of our customers — that's an edge we can't teach.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Drive direct sales of ShadowPartner and GripPartner products to individual athletes, high school and collegiate programs, and MMA gyms
• Prospect and qualify leads through outbound outreach — coaches, athletic directors, gym owners, club teams, and booster organizations
• Support the execution of social media campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Conduct market research to identify new verticals, partnership opportunities, and competitive positioning within the combat sports space
• Assist in developing sales collateral, pitch decks, and outreach materials
• Represent Technique Partner at tournaments, trade shows, and industry events — traveling with the team as needed
• Provide customer relationship management support — following up with prospects, maintaining pipelines, and converting warm leads
• Surface actionable insights on emerging market opportunities in wrestling, MMA, grappling, and adjacent athletic communities

WHAT YOU BRING
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills: comfortable reaching out cold and following up persistently
• Self-directed, goal-oriented, and motivated to perform without heavy supervision
• Genuine passion for athletic performance, strength training, or competitive sports
• Ability and willingness to travel to events and trade shows on an occasional basis
• Bonus: Active or former wrestler or MMA/grappling athlete — this is a significant differentiator
• Bonus: Existing network within high school, collegiate, or club wrestling/combat sports communities
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation is a plus

• Hybrid role — primarily remote with required travel to events and trade shows alongside the Technique Partner team
