Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud / Azure Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing cloud migration strategies, architecting cloud-native solutions, implementing governance frameworks, and driving cloud adoption across the organization. This role requires extensive hands-on Azure experience, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to lead technical teams while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud platforms.
- Develop and execute cloud migration and cloud adoption strategies.
- Architect cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Implement Azure governance, security, and operational best practices.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and application migration projects.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Collaborate with business, development, operations, security, and architecture teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural oversight.
- Manage cloud cost optimization, operational excellence, and governance standards.
Required Experience:
- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- 7 years of Azure engineering/architecture experience.
- 5 years designing and implementing cloud-native and enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong experience with Azure architecture, governance, security, and cloud migrations.
- Experience migrating on-premises workloads to Azure.
- Expertise in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and cloud networking.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and/or Chef.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
- Azure Certifications preferred.
- Experience in Financial Services, Lending, or E-Commerce domains.
- Experience supporting .NET environments and Serverless architectures.
- Experience building large-scale enterprise cloud platforms.
