In this role, you will be working as a Process Engineer for a client that works in engineering services for industrial clients who are major producers of specialty chemicals, polymers, refrigerants, etc... This position will be responsible for release valve design, engineering studies and calculations, and process simulations in chemical and petrochemical facilities.
This position is a contract to permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site with the opportunity for hybrid scheduling (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Due to the nature of the projects handled by this client, all applicants must be a US Citizen.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering required
- Active EIT with the ability to sit for a PE within the next 2 years required
- 3 years of experience in sizing release valves and release valve design
- Aspen Technology experience required
- Occasional travel to clients and job sites required
