PNW2 Repack Clerk - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The PNW2 Repack Clerk’s primary responsibility is to meet all customer service repack/relabel requirements.

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Repack/Relabel BMW PNW2 requirements that require specific smaller ship quantities.
• Manage systematic processes within MRP system
• Responsible for proper management and consumption of partial containers
• Follow all packaging guidelines
• Collaborate with shipping clerk and production planner to ensure that all shipping requirements are met in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Comply with all Environmental Requirements and Policies
• Report all Environmental incidents to immediate supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Keep warehouse organized, clean, and in good condition per 5S initiatives.
• Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques and using equipment safely.
• Clean up as needed and at the end of the shift.
• Training new employees on proper procedures and techniques.
• Must be available to be on an on-call basis on weekends.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks. 
• Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as part of a team.
• Serve on special project teams (Kaizen, 5S etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

• High School Diploma or GED plus one to three months’ related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Forklift Experience desired
• Knowledge of production processes, machines and tools, scales used to do weigh counting, Plex or similar ERP system, and scanner gun systems.
• Ability to count, verify, and key on hand quantities into the ERP system (Plex).
• Ability to navigate the shipping and receiving module in the ERP system (Plex).
• Ability to adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions required, being able to quickly respond as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
