Technical Coordinator Engineer_Malta

Techniconsult is a leading engineering and architectural consultancy with a growing presence across Europe. As part of our expansion strategy, we are establishing a new Malta-based operation to support projects across the Mediterranean region.

Our local team will comprise five experienced engineers and an architect, providing multidisciplinary expertise to clients in the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Techniconsult integrates cutting-edge digital tools and technologies into its design and engineering processes, including BIM (Building Information Modelling), Laser Scanning, Common Data Environment (CDE) systems, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), Process Simulation, 3D Printing, and immersive Virtual and Augmented Reality applications. These advanced tools enable us to deliver precise, efficient, and innovative project solutions to our clients.

Position:

Ensure the successful execution of all engineering activities (EPCM services – Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) by identifying and proposing the best operational and management strategies, optimizing and managing available internal and external resources.

Ensure seamless integration of individual project activities by coordinating and collaborating with various company departments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the entire engineering department at the Malta office;
• Support in planning and ensuring compliance with the budget and annual forecasting activities;
• Manage external suppliers;
• Manage clients;
• Ensure the quality of services provided and customer satisfaction;
• Support the sales team in developing activities with new clients.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture;
• Years of experience in technical design offices or engineering companies;
• Capacity for coordination and development of engineering and construction activities in industrial and pharmaceutical field and / or in other sectors.
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
  
  

Knowledge:

• Full life cycle of an industrial building and plant engineering project, experience in the pharmaceutical field;
• Design and EPCM activities;
• General knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, civil, pharmaceutical construction technologies;
• GEP (Good Engineering Practices);
• General knowledge of current Malta regulations in the various disciplines, with a particular focus on construction, plant engineering, permitting, and pharmaceutical sectors;
• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards;
• Project Management;
• Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project;
• Construction site safety regulations;

Languages:

• Fluent English (C1/C2);
• Fluent Italian is appreciated;
