Freelance Audio Technician – Live Events
Technical Video Inc. – Latham, NY
Technical Video Inc. is looking for reliable, experienced freelance Audio Technicians to work live events throughout the Albany/Capital Region.
We provide AV production for corporate meetings, conferences, luncheons, awards ceremonies, presentations, and other live events.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate audio systems for live events
- Set up wireless microphones, podium microphones, lavaliers, speakers, and digital mixers
- Perform sound checks and troubleshoot audio problems
- Operate audio during live events
- Work with other AV technicians and event staff
- Load-in, setup, and breakdown of equipment
- Provide professional service to our clients
What We're Looking For
- Previous live-event audio experience
- Experience with corporate events, conferences, or meetings preferred
- Knowledge of microphones, wireless systems, mixers, speakers, and signal flow
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Dependable and professional
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move AV equipment
- Availability for occasional weekdays, evenings, and weekends
A1/A2 experience is a plus. Experience with QSC, Shure wireless systems, and digital audio mixers is preferred.
This is a freelance position with flexible scheduling. The amount of work will vary depending on our event schedule.
