Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab SupervisorRockford, ILOur client is hiring a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab Supervisor!Responsibilities of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab SupervisorLead and supervise a small team of quality lab technicians in a 24/7 facility serving the metal forming industryBe responsible for all activities pertaining to the wastewater department and the analytical testing of chemicals and water used in the facility for processingSchedule test, maintenance and verification functions for the production lines in order to minimize production downtimeDevelop wastewater treatment and chemical processing plans in compliance with company goalsBe prepared for unplanned call-ins to the facility in the event of an obscure and very rare event pertaining to a line down situation so you can apply your expertise and leadership where neededBe responsible to comply with the city of Rockford, the state of Illinois and Federal EPA regulationsLead wastewater, water treatment and chemistry testing for the facility and manage the department budgetAssist with quality initiatives such as ISO Registration and Corrective ActionsRequirements of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab SupervisorThree or more years of Lab Supervisory experience within a chemistry, chemical, wastewater or water testing type of environment is requiredBilingual Spanish speaking is a strong plusClass K Water Treatment Certification is a strong plus High School Diploma is requiredBachelor's degree especially in a technical discipline such as chemistry from any university around the world is a plusUse MS Office including Excel and WordExcellent benefits at a well-recognized and established company!Compensation for the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Class K Water Treatment Certified Lab SupervisorThe annual starting base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 per year to $95,000 per year based on experience
