Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage precision cleaning, passivation, and fabrication projects. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle - from proposal through execution, quality verification, and delivery - for both government and commercial customers.
You will ensure projects meet stringent specifications, customer-specific requirements, stay on schedule and within budget, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including government contracts and commercial work.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Coordinate with production, quality, lab, and engineering teams to execute projects.
- Ensure full compliance with industry, and customer-specific cleanliness & documentation requirements.
- Track project performance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Certificates of Conformance, test reports, and delivery packages.
- Support business development researching new opportunities and contributing to proposals and estimates.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense services preferred.
- Experience managing government contracts (FAR, DFARS) and SAM.gov opportunities is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project or equivalent).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Person and able to pass a background check.
