Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing incremental new business opportunities for the manufacturers we represent, as well as maintaining and growing our existing customer base. You will cover a dynamic territory that includes the Greater Seattle area, Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to win new business within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to understand products, applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, territory planning, and activity reports.



Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or proven strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Must reside in Washington state.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a multi-state territory.
  • Experience selling to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the territory is a major benefit.
  • Sales experience in technical products or industrial markets preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
