Position Overview:
Join our team as an Electrical/ Mechanical Calibration Technician, ensuring precision in measurement instruments. This position is embedded in our client’s location full time Onsite Technical Service (OTS).
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate test equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
- Calibrate primary, secondary, and working standards to ensure top-tier accuracy.
- Create detailed calibration reports and certificates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain calibration equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine calibration procedures and implement improvements.
- Support audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience in physical dimensional and electrical calibration
- Preferred: Background in DOD, PMEL, or military calibration.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to error-free work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication for team collaboration and client interaction.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
