The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Manager of Workforce Data Reporting position in the Office of Workforce Development, Workforce Data & Program Quality team. This position is responsible for providing managerial support to a team of individuals responsible for compiling, creating and submitting workforce data reporting.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Workforce Data Reporting is responsible for management of staff that create reporting material and are tasked with all levels of reporting inclusive of ad hoc reporting and statutorily required state and federal reporting, that is relevant to workforce development. This role will be required to maintain a working knowledge of reporting requirements and data table structures, as well as present findings to an audience that includes the Office of Workforce Development and other Technical College System of Georgia management staff. The Manager of Workforce Data Reporting will report to the Executive Director of Data Reporting and Analysis, providing regular updates on any workforce-related evaluative topics based on operational need.

Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Interpret federal and state legislation and program requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and personnel actions of a team of reporting specialists, providing support by researching and providing instruction.
- Acts as point of contact for all workforce-related ad hoc report requests and federal reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring all workforce-related federal reports are submitted accurately and timely.
- Ensures reporting tasks are being completed within a timely manner and within the scope of the requestor.
- Communicates and logs new report requests and new report ideas, with detailed instructions, to the reporting team, with tracking to completion and implementation.
- Maintains listing of all workforce-related reporting and requirements.
- Collaborates with other business units when new workforce-related reporting requirements are added or modified.
- Serves as workforce-related federal reporting expert.
- Maintains a working knowledge of reports available within the WorkSource Georgia portal and acts as a point of contact for other OWD and local workforce area staff for these reports.
- Provide technical assistance for internal and external customers via phone, email, or in person.
- Analyzes data related to performance indicators and resources to determine potential reporting needs.
- Provides data support for the ongoing operation of workforce programs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Associate’s degree *and * Three (3) years of related work experience. Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-to-year basis
- A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of related experience *or* five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) and related Wagner-Peyser (WP) Act.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations with experience interpreting Training and Employment Notices (TENs) and Training and Employment Guidance Letters (TEGLs).
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment and involves light physical duties, including intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. The employee must be able to lift up to five (5) pounds.
