Water Treatment Chemical Sales Representative

A progressive national water treatment company is looking for an experienced water treatment chemical sales representative for sales and service of water treatment chemicals (and associated equipment) in their Greater Reno, Nevada based territory. Rep will take over an existing territory and focus on new and existing customers in the mid-sized manufacturing ,commercial, institutional markets. Rep will focus on chemicals used in boiler, cooling tower and closed loop systems in the territory. Majority of time is available for new busniess development. Very limited overnight travel required

Specific responsibilities will include:

1. Day to day management of existing assigned accounts
2. Development of new sales through cold calling and networking
3. Maintain effective communications with client and company management
4. Maintain industry knowledge through training and online programs
5. Management of technical support team, when assigned.

Company offers a starting package of 100-140K (base plus existing commisions), an excellent commission plan on new sales, company car, expenses, home based office (cell phone/laptop) and comprehensive benefits package
