A progressive national water treatment company is looking for an experienced water treatment chemical district sales manager for management and sales and service of water treatment chemicals (and associated equipment) in their Las Vegas, Nevada district. Manager will manage a three man team and take over an existing territory and focus on new and existing customers in the mid-sized manufacturing ,commercial, institutional markets. Manager will focus on business development and training of reps for chemicals used in boiler, cooling tower and closed loop systems in the territory. Majority of time is available for new busniess development. Very limited overnight travel required
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Day to day management of junior sales reps and technician
- Development of new sales through cold calling and networking
- Maintain effective communications with client and company management
- Maintain industry knowledge through training and online programs
- Management of technical support team, when assigned.
Company offers a starting package of 140-150K (base plus existing commisions), an excellent commission plan on new sales, company car, expenses, home based office (cell phone/laptop) and comprehensive benefits package.
