Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Safely set up, operate, and monitor fabrication equipment, including:
- Amada Turret Punch Press
- Trumpf 3040 Laser
- Wysong Shear
- Amada Press Brake
- Water Jet and Plasma Cutting systems
- Interpret work orders, part programs, and blueprints to ensure proper machine setup and tooling selection
- Perform complete machine setups, including program verification, tooling selection, and material matching
- Understand and apply proper die clearance and forming techniques
- Load and position various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers; make setup adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy
- Accurately document production data on routing and inspection sheets
- Operate Forklifts and overhead cranes in accordance with safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to support workflow and production efficiency
- Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or process deviations to the Department Lead, Production Supervisor, or Quality Control
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards at all times

Specific Qualifications
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of fractions, decimals, and basic shop math
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Training in PPE, GHS, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); onsite training available if needed
- Forklift and overhead crane certification preferred, onsite training available
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, grasping, and reaching overhead or outward
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
