Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees on 2nd shift
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Champion 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive corrective actions
- Coordinate daily operations to meet production goals, quality standards, and deadlines
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain strong communication with other shifts and departments
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production demands
- Hold team members accountable while supporting their growth and success
- Drive performance by setting clear expectations and leading by example
- Experience in a welding or steel manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices
- Prior military experience (strongly valued but not required)
- Background in team leadership, supervision, or crew management
