Join the growing Techni-Glass team as a Production Worker and be a vital part of delivering high-quality fabricated glass products to customers spanning across many industries!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of glass, and standing for hours at a time, requires physical strength and stamina.
- Loading and unloading of product from processing lines.
- Packaging and crating of finished product for shipment.
- Use of precision measurement instruments.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently where required.
- Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and documented.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Performing quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards.
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Working Hours and Wages:
- First and second shift opportunities available.
- Typical schedule is 4x10 hour shifts Tuesday-Friday.
- Starting wage shown does not include premiums offered for shift differential, machine and other specific skilled production roles.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.
- The ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously when required.
- The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding the importance of producing quality products.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
