TechNET has exclusively partnered with a global leader in secure payment technology to appoint an experienced Enterprise Business Development Director to support the continued growth of its North American business.
With over 2,000 customers across more than 150 countries and a workforce of 15,000 employees worldwide, our client is recognised as one of the most established and innovative organisations within the payments and secure transactions market. Their technology supports many of the world's leading financial institutions, payment providers and fintech organisations, delivering solutions that span physical payment cards, digital issuance, biometrics, identity and secure payment technologies.
Following significant investment across North America, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven hunter to identify new opportunities, win strategic enterprise accounts and accelerate market growth.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for developing relationships with banks, issuers, fintechs, processors, programme managers and strategic partners across North America, creating opportunities within both established and emerging areas of the payments ecosystem.
Working closely with executive leadership, you'll build and execute strategic territory plans, identify new routes to market and lead complex enterprise sales engagements from initial prospecting through to commercial negotiation and contract signature.
This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the commercial organisation and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future growth of the business.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional with a proven history of winning complex new business.
You'll ideally bring:
- A consistent track record of securing enterprise new logo business within the payments ecosystem.
- Experience selling into banks, issuers, fintechs, processors, payment providers or adjacent financial technology organisations.
- A strong network across the North American payments market.
- Experience managing long, consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple executive stakeholders.
- The commercial credibility to negotiate high-value, multi-year agreements while protecting margin and long-term customer value.
- A proactive approach to generating pipeline through strategic account targeting, networking and market engagement.
