Job Title: IT Security Specialist - Threat & Intrusion Detection
Location- Denver, CO / Addison, TX / Charlotte, NC (3 Days Onsite)
Duration: Contract
Skills:
10 years of experience in Intrusion Detection, threat detection and identifying and interpreting web application logs from a security perspective.
5 years of hands-on experience with Splunk, including developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SPL queries for threat hunting, monitoring, and security analytics.
5 years of Incident Response experience, managing the full incident lifecycle, conducting investigations, performing root cause analysis, and driving remediation efforts to minimize business risk.
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and MacOS operating systems and able to interpret Apache web logs, IIS, Active Directory and other security logs.
