Solution Architect

Location: McKinney, Texas, USA (Onsite – 5 days a week) Experience: 10 Years

Reporting: Reports to Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) with dotted-line reporting to CEO

Role Overview

Techment Technology is seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Solution Architect to drive innovation, modernization, and Data & AI transformation initiatives across client engagements.This role will serve as a key bridge between executive vision and technical execution, working closely with the CIO and CEO to lead high-impact innovation programs aligned with Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong architectural depth with business acumen, client-facing maturity, and consultative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead innovation initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic pivot
  
  

toward Data & AI using Microsoft technologies.

• Design scalable, future-ready solution architectures across Azure, Data Platforms, AI/ML, and Modern Application stacks.
• Evaluate existing client systems to identify technical debt, modernization pathways, and
  
  

optimization opportunities.

• Drive preventive and perfective maintenance strategies to improve system reliability
  
  

and performance.

• Accompany the CEO and Account Managers to in-person client QBRs and strategic discussions.
• Present technical roadmaps, modernization blueprints, and innovation proposals to
  
  

CXO-level stakeholders.

• Create client-ready proposals outlining modernization opportunities and value-add initiatives.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales teams on RFP responses, solution positioning, and effort estimation.
• Support Sales and Marketing teams in building technical collaterals, whitepapers, and
  
  

solution briefs.

• Work closely with onsite and offshore delivery teams to assess architecture maturity
  
  

and ensure governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and large-scale system modernization.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS), Azure Data Services, AI/ML services, and
  
  

modern application architecture.

• Experience designing Data Platforms, Lakehouse architectures, and AI-driven solutions.
• Proven experience in client-facing architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of technical debt assessment and modernization strategies.
• Experience collaborating in pre-sales and RFP cycles.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• To work from Techment office in McKinney, Texas 5 days a week and travel locally for
  
  

client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture or Data & AI.
• Experience driving innovation initiatives in mid-to-large enterprises.
• Exposure to FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing domains.
• Strong financial acumen to articulate ROI and cost optimization benefits.
