Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Wastewater Treatment Plant Coordinator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our wastewater treatment facility. This vital role ensures the efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant processing of wastewater, supporting public health and sustainability initiatives. As a key team member, you will coordinate plant activities, supervise equipment operation, and maintain rigorous safety standards to keep our water systems functioning optimally. Your expertise will help us meet regulatory requirements while promoting continuous improvement in water treatment processes.
This is a 7 day a week facility. Weekends will be worked out with another candidate on every other weekend OR varied weekend schedule.
MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
- Class 2 water license required
· In order to operate a state vehicle, must show proof of valid driver’s license
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT:
All certified water & wastewater operators must meet requirements of OAC 3745-7-15 pertaining to OEPA
Director approved contact hour required to renew certification.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires travel; exposed to sewage & sewage odors & corrosive & caustic chemicals; works outdoors exposed to extreme temperatures; exposed to loud noise; works in tight confined area occasionally
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
