Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector
Location: San Ramon, CA (Onsite)
Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Contract: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $26.10 – $27.96/hour
Job Overview:
We are hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a leading manufacturing company in San Ramon, CA. We are looking for candidates with experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections
- Inspect incoming materials, components, and finished products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other inspection equipment
- Perform AQL sampling inspections
- Document inspection results and non-conforming materials
- Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives
- Maintain accurate inspection records
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of Quality Control inspection experience
- Experience reading blueprints and GD&T
- Knowledge of AQL sampling methods
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- CMM experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
